my name is rue, i use she/her, and i'm 22 years old currently (birthday september '98). i'm mixed (half&half filipino/white), but usually just refer to myself as asian since it's more ingrained in my identity. i am aro/ace but women are neat. i also hyperfixate very, very heavily, and my current interest of about 4 years is cardfight!! vanguard g, most specifically enishi satoru.
i post art but lack the confidence to be like "i'm an artist!" lol. please don't make jokey comments about my art, i only started drawing seriously in 2015ish and i'm pretty sensitive to jokes.

my main fandom interest is cardfight!! vanguard g! i don't know too much about the original cfv series, though i did watch a lot of it (i just don't remember many details). my specific vanguard-centric account is @scharhrot, and i additionally run the @incorrectcfv twitter account.
within cfvg i tend to talk a lot about the teams of the under-20 championship (striders, fukuhara, jaime flowers), and ship-wise i'm fond of:

you can take literally one look at my twitter and tell that my ultimate character bias is satoru enishi; i'm not kin with him though, i just think he's great. if you see me refer to "my wife" i'm talking about him most of the time ("my husband"? that's scharhrot vampir babyyyyy).
as far as the card game goes, i play dark irregulars (scharhrot/darkness) mainly, with side-decks of pale moon (nightmare dolls, silver thorn (ex)), oracle think tank (battle sisters), and angel feather (black gravers).

byf/peeves
recent events have made me realize that simply assuming everyone knows general byf criteria is a mislead idea. this said, i do not welcome racists, homophobes, transphobes, or anyone in that general circus. you are not wanted here. i have a lot of personal trauma related to the 45th presidency and my own clinical depression, and i would prefer it if you didn't even mention the president @ me in a joking manner ("make x y again" jokes aren't funny, go away).
mentioned before, but i would very much appreciate it if you refrained from making joke comments about my art too... my self-esteem is non-existent and art self-esteem is sub-zero, even if you're joking i take it poorly. obviously comments are welcome, but stuff like "lol this looks like xyz" makes me think ("oh, i guess i didn't draw it well enough"), stuff like "he's wearing mascara huh" just reminds me at how much i suck at drawing masculine traits.
some much lesser dislikes are more phobia-related, you do not have to tag retweets but i'm very afraid of frogs and most amphibians/reptiles/insects. frogs are frequently used for reaction/meme images nowadays, if you could refrain from using them @ me i'd appreciate it, i get nauseous.
on blocking
i'm pretty lax in who follows me and i never hardblock but sometimes my anxiety brain makes me softblock people. i've had bad instances in the past on twitter of people pretending to be amicable with me and then vaguing/mocking me constantly without my knowledge and it absolutely demolished my sense of security or trust (lol)...
i don't think it's bad to block if someone makes you uncomfortable, it's just not something i personally do often. feel free to block me for any reason, though if you don't tell me why or we've never spoken it'll probably just confuse me.
relatedly, while i don't think you are obligated to in any way, i'd really like to talk it out if i've said or rt'd something that made you uncomfortable. i'm more than willing to delete/apologize!
